TtV Photo Studio Free!

by Pu on August 26, 2011

Taplayer has just released TtV Photo Studio, now free for a limited time. In the occasion of its launch, Taplayer’s app will be free for three days only in the App Store!

TtV Studio ProTtV Photo Studio recreates the magic of through the viewfinder photography on iPhone devices. The app comes with more than thirty viewfinder styles, black and white, cyan and sepia conversion and a few other tools to give your photos the best possible analog look. Many among the most popular classic viewfinders are included in Taplayer’s app: Anscoflex, Super Ricohflex, Kodak Brownie, Argus 75, just to name a few.

This app is identical to the previously released TtV Studio Pro, which we have reviewed here. I couldn’t spot any relevant difference between the two versions of Taplayer’s TtV app, apart from a fix for the bug that I had noticed with viewfinder #2, the Brownie Dark, which in this new version works perfectly. Since TtV Photo Studio is currently free, this is the right occasion to try it out.

The app is meant to replace TtV Studio Pro–that’s why it (Photo Studio) is temporarily made free to allow previous (and new) customers to reclaim (or grab) it 😀

That is an awesome idea from the developers.

Great idea? Is that sarcastic? I think they should have improved the first version instead of releasing all these defective ttv apps. Jeez, I’m not buying taplayer’s apps anymore from now on.

Hold your horses. There must be a good reason for this 🙂 after all, it’s just the same as an update because the dev said Studio Pro will be removed due to some App Store glitch.

Got it! Thanks for the heads up!! I had TtV Studio Pro but had problems with it so I blew it off. Photo Studio seems to work like a charm…can’t wait to do more with it.

It’s not exaclty the same as an update, because if you have downloaded the first version and you miss the free download, then you have to pay for the new version.

That’s no way to do business properly IMO.

True, if the previous buyers missed it, then it’s unfair for them to pay again. Hopefully the dev can give free promo codes 🙂

Aren’t promo codes limited? I’ve heard you can only have a few to give away. I don’t know about previous version, but I am getting this now, just in case 🙂
