Repix 1.4.1 introduces three new brushes as free and paid extras. Here is a preview of what you are getting with this update.
Of the three new brushes, one is a classic artistic medium, one is a grunge effect and one a fancy Live brush. The Chalk Brush is the new entry in the Artistic brushes collection and it comes free with the app. It emulates, as the name suggests, the look of chalk pastel strokes. Fans of the Charcoal brush will be happy with this addition. The Cracks Brush was added to the Grunge brushes. With it, it’s possible to apply light and dark realistic looking cracks, peeling paint and other surface damages and blemishes to images. This brush is also included as a free extra.
The paid addition is the Raven Brush, now part of the Live brushes pack and only available through it for $1.99 (€1.79/£1.49). The Live brushes pack is available as a separate in-app purchase or as part of the Masters Collection, which bundles all paid brushes, filters and frames for the special price of $5.99 (€5.49/£3.99).
We have a in-depth review here if you want to see how the app works in detail. Repix is a free app compatible both with iPhone and iPad and you can download it directly from the App Store.
