Price Drops for VintageScene, Lumière & Panoramatic 360

by Pu on October 11, 2011

Three noteworthy apps are currently available at a special price from the App Store: VintageScene, Lumière and Panoramatic 360. All three apps are now $0.99/€0.79/£0.69.
VintageScene, Lumière & Panoramatic 360 on sale

VintageScene converts today’s photos into retro, faded, worn out images from the past. JixiPix’s app comes with several textures and borders and it allows to adjust colors and degree of decay in processed photos. All items are customizable and users can save presets for effects they like in particular way or they want to use more than once. For making everything easier, VintageScene comes with a rich collection of ready-to-use styles and a randomize feature.

Lumière uses real-time processing to convey analog-like effects, like those of old-fashioned toy cameras. The app includes a varied collection of filters and borders which can be combined together by swiping across the screen vertically or horizontally. Lumière also comes with a randomize effect feature for many surprising results.

Panoramatic 360 is one of the most popular iPhone apps for creating 360 degrees panoramic images. The app allows the use of both portrait and landscape orientation. For stitching together several images into a single panoramic view, Panoramatic is one of the most accurate iPhone photography apps that I have tried so far.

It goes without saying — but I will repeat it anyway: the current offer for these three apps is valid only for a limited time. The regular price for VintageScene, Lumière and Panoramatic 360 is $1.99/€1.59/£1.49

Pinhole HD is currently free. Grab it now, if you haven’t bought it already.

Miege October 21, 2011 at 4:58 am

Got it–hmm, the res seems to be low ?_?

ILAR October 21, 2011 at 7:49 am

LOL, Miege, it is supposed to be a primitive pinhole cam 🙂

Miege October 21, 2011 at 9:39 am

But it says HD? Outrageous! 😀

ILAR October 21, 2011 at 7:51 am

oh, and… while you’re there, you may wanna grab both qbro and quickpix. they are free right now.

ILAR October 21, 2011 at 7:52 am

qbro is pretty lowres too – but has got tons of fx (some super cheesy).

Miege October 21, 2011 at 9:43 am

Got my quickpix copy few months ago. I think I’ll skip qbro, hehe. As for quickpix, I used to keep it because it has quick startup but now with iOS 5, Camera seems to be just as fast.

Hey, have you seen BigLens ($0.99)? Whaddayathink?

ILAR October 22, 2011 at 8:00 am

@Miege – I’m loving BigLens! The smart focus and aperture control are super cool.
Also got Insta110, Squara and RainyDaze recently.

P.S. Squara, BTW, is free today, if you wanna give it a go.

P.P.S. QBro is not a bad app, if you’re willing to condone the low-res, and the korean cuteness, that is. 🙂

Miege October 22, 2011 at 3:35 pm

Yeah, same here! Big Lens is super cool with its smart focus and aperture–but other than that, it’s kinda meh. At least its worth the money ($0.99). I have too many analogue camera apps so I’ll skip Insta110; but Rainy Daze sounds intriguing. How is the effect? 🙂

P.S. True, QBro is kinda cool, but low res kinda defeats the purpose of using the photos as wallpapers.

P.P.S. While you’re checking Big Lens, have a look at its sister product, Visualize. Looks swell for a collage/mashup thingy. But it doesn’t have smart focus yet.

Where is Pu? Long time no hoot…

Miege October 22, 2011 at 3:36 pm

Hope everything’s OK, though…

Really missing his articles here. Hope to see something new soon.

ILAR October 23, 2011 at 9:38 pm

UPDATE: Pu’s fine. There’s some tech issue that’s apparently preventing the new posts. Fix in progress.

Pu October 23, 2011 at 11:41 pm

As I said to ILAR via email earlier today, we are experiencing some technical issue on various fronts. Explaining would be long and boring, but you know how it goes: when it rains, it pours, as common wisdom would put it. Anyway, we managed to finally update and hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thanks for caring =)

LOL you could always make a pseudo article in the comments 😛
