Mextures 1.4 for iPhone is out and with it come brand new textures for processing images. The app relies on the power of layer blending thanks to a rich and versatile selection of textures (gradients, noise and dust, light leaks, grungy surfaces) that can be combined together for obtaining various effects. Limitless textures can be piled up to create custom formulas that can be saved and used endless times.

The latest version of the app gives users a new texture pack for more possible combinations. The Radiance pack includes 11 new textures, bright gradients in various hues and configurations that can be put to use also to emulate delicate light leaking effects.
The “show original” button is yet another change in release 1.4 and a useful little improvement. This feature is represented by the eye icon you will find both in the layers and formulas panels. By tapping and holding on it, you can now temporarily disable all layers to preview changes and compare versions of the same image while editing.
